Voter Registration – 2023. How many are we and where are we?

On December 31th 2023, 10.883.512 voters were registered in the Portuguese electoral register.
​​Of these:
  • ​​9.260.214 were national voters residing in national territory.
  • ​1.590.475 were national voters residing abroad.
  • 15.007 were voters from European Community countries residing in Portugal.
  • 17.816 were voters from other foreign countries residing in Portugal.
