Portuguese citizens residing abroad who have turned 18 years old up to 60 days before the election and are registered on the electoral roll for the Assembly of the Republic can vote.​
Yes, since you were automatically registered at the age of 17, on a provisional basis, becoming a permanent voter on the date you turn 18, as long as you are registered on the electoral roll for the Assembly of the Republic.​
Authentication on the Candidacy Portal, necessary for registering or supporting a candidate list, must be carried out through authentication with a citizen card + PIN or Digital Mobile Key (DMK).
In the case of DMK, the mobile phone number to be used must be the same number that you associated when requesting DMK activation. It could be a French mobile phone number or one from another country, however, this must be the number registered.

Candidacy lists, for this election, must be presented by November 6th, 2023, to the diplomatic or consular representative of Portugal in the respective electoral constituency, or whoever replaces him. It should be noted that candidates who are part of the candidacy lists must be registered in the electoral register in the constituency for which they are running.​
Yes, it is possible as long as you do so by the 20th day before the election.​
The electoral rolls are available at the consular office between the 2nd and 12th of October for information and consultation by voters.​
The right to vote is exercised in person, on November 26th, at polling stations set up for this purpose.​
