Recruitment of electoral agents.
​​Through BAE, electoral agents (polling station members) are recruited in order to ensure the smooth functioning of polling stations on the days of elections or referendums, with citizens registered in the national territory being able to register.
Voting citizens registered with the BAE are only designated as polling station members when the number of citizens selected to join the polling stations, under the terms provided for by law, is insufficient and only for polling stations to be established in the area of the municipality or parish where they are registered.
